Maria Ritchie​

Maria Ritchie has held her 2nd Dan since 2011 and is a BJA qualified level 1 coach.

Maria has been with the Dowty Club since her days as a successful Junior Player, followed by an active career as a Senior Player, which subsequently took her into an equally successful Masters career. She has been a regular competitor at Masters level since 2012 when she won the British Masters title, and is still competing today.

In 2016, she embarked on the required route towards her Coaching qualification, and later that year she became a fully qualified level 1 Coach within the BJA Coaching structure, and subsequently joined the Dowty Coaching team, and also acts as the Club’s welfare officer.
